Did you forget your Site Short Name?
Every school/district setup in Eduss has a unique "Site Short Name" that is how Eduss identifies your school/district and distinguishes your site from other schools' sites.
You've probably seen the Site Short Name labeled on the login screen before:
A typical Site Short Name consists of two parts seperated by an underscore (_).
- The first part is the standard two letter abbriviation for the state in which your school/district is located.
For example: If your school is located in Colorado, then your Site Short Name would begin with 'co_'.
Note: Some sites were set up before this policy was in place and therefore don't have the state prefix.
- The second part is usually a short memerable word that describes your school/district.
For Example: If your district is set up with an Eduss Site, and your district is typically called "District 1," then your short name might end with 'district1'.
Put those together and you would have a Site Short Name of 'co_district1'.
Anatomy of the Eduss URL
If you take your site short name and append it to the end of the http://online.eduss.com/ URL, you will have the URL that your school/district can use to access Eduss.
For Example: http://online.eduss.com/co_district1/
If you are still having trouble determining what Site Short Name to use, please contact Eduss and let us know.
